HKC Shipping has commissioned HKC Atlas, a high-bollard-pull harbour tug, strengthening assist and escort capacity at Suez and Port Said.

The vessel supports ship berthing, unberthing, and emergency response for commercial carriers and LNG movements. Crew training and ISM procedures were completed ahead of the first operational voyage.

Following an independent surveillance audit, HKC Shipping renewed ISO 9001:2015 certification across ship agency, offshore support, and marine logistics operations.

Auditors reviewed document control, client feedback processes, and port-office workflows in Suez, Port Said, and Ain Sokhna. No major nonconformities were recorded.

HKC Shipping and the Suez Port Authority signed a cooperation framework to improve vessel turnaround, data sharing, and emergency coordination on the Mediterranean corridor.

HKC Shipping received regional recognition for workplace standards covering shore and sea staff, including safety training hours, career pathways, and retention across Egyptian port offices.
